ICAF is an Australian registered not-for-profit organisation. Our aim is to promote the prevention and control of disease by supporting intensive care services through education, clinical equipment, quality assurance, and new research.
Funding essential teaching infrastructure, equipment, and professional development grants for ICU registrars and healthcare workers at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Providing seed-funding research grants to advance knowledge in intensive care medicine and supporting RMH ICU Transition Year Registrars with research grants.
Supporting the RMH ICU with part-task trainers, simulation mannikins, and consumables that enable hands-on clinical training and high-fidelity simulation.
Supporting quality assurance programmes that improve patient outcomes and uphold high standards of clinical practice in intensive care medicine.
